Priority Plastics

Priority Plastics expanded to the Las Vegas market in 2006 from Grinnell, Iowa, and initially worked with 2 staffing agencies, until they chose to expand their workforce exclusively through The Work Connection.

TWC application intake and screening processes improved the integrity and stability of the flexible workforce via a much more thorough qualification process (both from a skill set and eligibility perspective) targeting employees who have a background in a production environment, thereby reducing the costs associated with training new employees, and increasing the levels of production within their plant.

In addition, TWC has coordinated the orientation of new employees at Priority Plastics through our “Work Readiness” handbook, safety training, and facilitated the integration of new employees at Priority Plastics through by personally being on premise to introduce them to their new assignment, and provide on-site orientation. This has saved Priority Plastics from the time and burden of their supervisors having to perform these tasks, and allowed them to focus on other pressing issues within their facility.
